>I received a Google Adwords Free Advertising Voucher yesterday. The voucher was worth Php 1,500.00 but there was a note on the letter that the offer drops in value to Php 1,000.00 after September 30, 2010 and it will be valid until October 15, 2010. I did not mind the drop thinking I still have Php 1,000.00 free.

Excited as I am for the promotional credit I received from Google, I then signed-up online and started to create my very first campaign. However, when I finished my ad and came to the billing portion, I have to complete all the billing information that includes my credit card or debit card number. I was looking for the tab where I could put the unique voucher code but it was nowhere to be found. I surfed for possible clues that could possibly shed light on this matter. Then I found the catch for this promotion – I have to pay the activation fee worth Php 300.00 before I could use the free voucher and activate my ad!

I was disappointed with what I learned. The voucher does not cover the payment for account activation fee. I thought this was all free and I could set-up my campaign without taking any cent from my pocket.

Although I was not able to use my voucher, it does not mean it is of no use for others who might have received this free advertising voucher from Google. Businesses could make use of this and could save a lot for their ad campaign.

Unwanted Pop-up Ads on My Blog

Recently, I noticed there was a pop-up ad on my blog and it was annoying! I hate pop-ups on websites and then I would be having one on my own! Gosh!

I was surfing the internet trying to figure out what had caused this to appear on my blog. I found an article from a fellow blogger who have the same problem as mine. Apparently, I was not the only one hit by this nuisance.

I returned to my blog to check the things I have added before the pop-up dilemma. Then I noticed a new message on my shoutbox. It was from Aria, and the message that saved my blog says:

“I saw an unwanted banner ads on your blog. kick out the free-shoutbox to fix it. change to cbox or shoutmix”

Following Aria’s suggestion, I kicked out my shoutbox and replaced it with ShoutMix. Thanks much to you, Aria! You are an angel! The pop-up was gone!

I have taken a screen shot of that annoying pop-up. If you see one on your blog, you have to get rid of it. I believe this points to p0rn ads and we don’t want to be banned, do we?

Merry Christmas Everyone! We have

before Christmas!

This is the second “ber” month. I guess everyone is just so excited to celebrate Christmas Day again! Some have started decorating their homes as early as September. The malls are already full of Christmas spirit. Christmas decorations are everywhere and Christmas carols add some beat to the holiday spirit.

Have you prepared your Christmas wish list? Maybe you could add mine on your list too! I have so many Christmas wishes in mind and I am afraid it would not fit in, lol! I am sure Santa would get bored reading my list.

Among my list are Christmas gifts for my kids and hubby. I have three kids and I have to give each one of them some Christmas surprise. My kids love Christmas and they love gift giving the most! My kids are easy to please. They would be very happy to receive simple gifts like candies and chocolates as long as they are wrapped in Christmas wrappers. However, I know they would be more pleased if they will receive their ultimate Christmas wish – PSP!

My kids already made personalized greeting cards for us last month and I would like to give them one too! Since I am always with my computer, I could have personalized Christmas greeting cards from 123print and maybe a family picture last Christmas would be great for the card.

House Plans - Living Room Furniture
We have so many things in mind for our house. We are gradually taking some steps to realize our plans. Furniture for the living room is among our basic plans. Since our living room is bare, a living room sofa set is one of our priorities. We need to have one because whenever our relatives and friends come to visit, we use our dining seats for them. It would be more convenient if we have them seated on a very nice and comfortable sofa set.

Our living room space is just so small for the whole family. With three kids on the go, especially our busy toddler, we need every little space we have to accommodate the kids’ activities like play, play and play! Well, my kids are just too busy everyday. They never fail to surprise and annoy me with their tricks. I think they made it their business to keep me that way everyday! lol! With such kids’ behavior, I am so worried about what they will do to the sofa set if we already have one! My toddler is now interested with pens and colors and you all know what would happen if such little boy has a pen on hand! Huh!
